The Ants are Here!

As we've been reading our story in reading this week, Two Bad Ants, we've also had some visitors arrive!  An ant colony has joined our class! They are living in a gel environment, which supplies all their nutrients and provides a place for them to build their elaborate tunnels. We'll add more photos as the construction continues ;)

Thanks Mrs. Conklin!

Look at what Mrs. Conklin shared with our class today!  Thanks so much for the yummy cookies-on-a-stick, and thank you, too, for all the help you've given us in our classroom this year!

Volcano Presentations

Last week we finished up our Landform unit by presenting our volcano PowerPoint to Mrs. Reese's class. Here are some shots of a few of the presentations. The third grades did a fantastic job creating their very first Powerpoint, and they were able to give us loads of information about each type of volcano!
