Busy AR readers!

It was a busy morning at the computers in our classroom as third graders are anxious to take AR tests! Remember, all students should be at 100% by 5-16-14, and we are working hard to stay at or above 85% correct on all tests!

All ready for Open House!

Thanks so much to all the parents, grandparents, and friends who attended Open House on Thursday night! We had an excellent turn-out, and the third graders were thrilled to share their school lives with their families. Here are some photos of the "third-graders" as they anxiously awaited our guests....  ;)

Read the Most - Coast to Coast!

 On Friday, Feb. 28th, River Ridge participated in Accelerated Reader's "Read the Most Coast to Coast"  program in which we were helping to break last year's record of total number of AR tests taken across the US.  Although we were striving to make 5 million, we did beat last year's record with a total of 4,987,949 tests taken from coast to coast.  Here are a few snapshots of our day:
