What a great day for a fieldtrip! The third graders were awesome as we ventured to Dubuque today and saw an amazing performance of the Lightning Thief at UD! We had a yummy pizza lunch there, too. Then we headed over to Loras to visit the Heitkamp Planetarium. Many of the Gods and Goddesses from Greek Mythology that we saw in the Lightning Thief also appeared in the stories we heard about constellations at the Planetarium. We even managed to sneak in a spring walk around campus. Thanks again so much to Victoria Molle for arranging this fun day for us! We so appreciate your kindness and generosity!
